Readers come to Razer Gaming Series for straight answers on gaming laptops and gear. The standards below keep those answers honest, whichever brand is involved.
Editorial independence
We are an independent publication and are not run by any hardware maker, including Razer. Our editors choose what to cover and what to recommend. No manufacturer or retailer can review an article before publication or request changes to a verdict.
Paid placement
We don’t sell spots. Brands cannot pay to be included, to rank higher or to be described more favorably, and we do not publish sponsored rankings.
How we source facts
- Primary sources first: manufacturer spec sheets, manuals and official release notes.
- Independent measurements next: laptop review outlets, display measurement labs, hardware review sites and audio measurement databases.
- Owner reports for durability and reliability patterns, weighed by how consistent they are.
- No unsourced numbers. If we can’t show where a figure came from, it doesn’t run.
- When measurements conflict, for example two outlets reporting different sustained GPU wattage for the same laptop, we present both with context or omit the figure.
AI in our workflow
AI tools assist with research, outlines and drafts. Human editors rewrite, edit and verify everything that gets published. AI never invents specs, performance numbers or measurement results.
Conflicts of interest
We currently do not accept review units or free products in exchange for coverage. If we ever receive a sample or enter any relationship with a brand we write about, the article will disclose it. Affiliate commissions are disclosed site-wide and do not influence rankings.
Update schedule
Our main guides are reviewed on a regular cycle and updated sooner when new models launch, firmware changes behavior, prices shift or readers report problems. Every revision is dated.
